Trish Daniels has been making her proprietary bubble mix and has created different sized wands that will allow for some very unique and eye grabbing monster bubbles.
A bubbleologist (often stylized as "bubble-ologist") is a professional entertainment artist and performer who specializes in the science, art, and manipulation of soap bubbles. Far from just blowing simple backyard bubbles, these performers use specialized chemical mixtures and unique wands to create massive, intricate visual spectacles; Courtesy YouTube.
What a Bubbleologist Does:
• Intricate Bubble Tricks: They shape smoke-filled bubbles, fire bubbles, square bubbles, bubble sculptures, and "bubbles inside of bubbles". A signature finale for many acts involves using a massive giant-loop wand to safely envelop a standing person entirely inside a vertical column of a bubble.
• The "Science" (Bubbleology): They leverage the laws of physics and surface tension. Bubbles naturally form spheres because it is the most mathematically efficient shape with the least surface area. When multiple bubbles meet, they change geometry to form neat geometric shapes like cubes or tetrahedrons.
• Custom Chemistry: Professional bubbleologists rarely use off-the-shelf soap. They engineer custom solutions usually combining warm water, professional-grade dishwashing liquid, and polymers like glycerol, glycerin, or guar gum. These additives slow down water evaporation, making the bubble walls stronger, more colorful, and capable of expanding to massive sizes without popping immediately.
The premier trade group is the Association of International Bubble Artistes (AOIBA). It stands as the world's only global professional organization dedicated strictly to the art, science, and performance of soap bubbles.
